Simon Cunningham
Senior LEaderSimon joined Shoreline Church in 1992. He has over 25 years of experience working in the local church, overseas missions and Christian Charities. He is passionate about seeing positive changes in our community and making a difference to people. Simon has also worked with Sefton Youth Services, Youth Ministries International, Next Level International, Safe Families for Children and currently works with Green Pastures across Merseyside.
Vicki Woodley
leadership teamVicki serves Shoreline on the Leadership Team heading up prayer ministry at the church. Vicki has worked for Shoreline Church (formally Argyle Road Church) since 1996. Her two children are Roy and Katie who she loves to spend time with.
Peter Cunningham
leadership teamPastor Pete, as he is known, was born and grew up in London. Born again at 21 after riotous teenaged living, his early working life was spent in the Share Market.
Later, in the ministry, he pastored several churches before taking on a small congregation in Southport in 1993. The church has grown considerably since then, and is now known as Shoreline Church.
Pastor Pete has always had a heart for the broken and homeless, feeding them and providing shelter anywhere possible, even in a caravan on the church car park.
Darryl Pickton
AdministrationDarryl plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day life of the church. Through helping coordinate details, assisting staff and volunteers, and making sure services and events run smoothly, he helps create a welcoming and well-organized environment. His work behind the scenes allows the church to focus on caring for people and serving the community.
Jamie Muir
Worship ministryJamie serves as our Worship Leader, helping guide the church in meaningful and heartfelt worship each week. Through music and leadership, he creates an environment where people can connect with God and worship together as a community. Jamie works closely with the worship team to prepare for services and help lead moments that point people toward faith, reflection, and praise.
Daniel Tuakli
SafeguardingDaniel Tuakli is pleased to serve on the Leadership Team of Shoreline Church heading up Small Groups & Pastoral Care. Our three daughters Lydia, Esther-Rose and Abigail are a real blessing to us by the support they show towards us in the work we undertake here at Shoreline. We also thank God for the constant encouragement from so many.

Her leadership reflects a deep sense of purpose and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Childrens MinistrySuzie is a kind and dedicated woman who runs the children’s ministry every Sunday morning. She creates a warm and welcoming space where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Through thoughtful lessons and engaging activities, she helps them grow in confidence and understanding each week.
Janetta Lawrance
Advice WorkerJanetta is a compassionate and dedicated advice worker who supports people in her church community facing homelessness and food insecurity. She offers practical guidance on accessing housing, benefits, and local food support, while also providing a listening ear in difficult times. Through her kindness and commitment, Janetta helps people feel supported, valued, and hopeful as they work toward greater stability.

RenewFran is a dedicated and inspiring leader who faithfully runs the Renew program. With a heart for encouraging others, she creates a welcoming and supportive environment where people can grow, reflect, and find fresh purpose. Through her thoughtful guidance and genuine care, Fran helps those in the program feel seen, valued, and motivated to move forward with confidence.
